Accessibility Statement

At-Home Health is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, and to improving it over time.

Our Commitment

At-Home Health is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology. People looking for home health care should not be shut out of information about it.

Accessibility is something we work on continually rather than something we finish. As pages are added and updated, we review them and correct problems we find.

The Standard We Are Working Toward

Our goal is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities.

We want to be straightforward about where we stand. This is a goal we are actively working toward, not a certification. No independent third-party accessibility audit of this website has been completed, and we do not claim that every page fully meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA or any legal accessibility standard. Some content may not yet meet the goal.

Steps We Have Taken

  • Building pages so they can be operated with a keyboard alone, with visible focus indicators
  • Using page structure, headings, and landmarks that assistive technology can navigate
  • Providing text alternatives for meaningful images
  • Checking text and background colors for sufficient contrast
  • Labeling form fields and announcing form errors
  • Respecting the operating system setting that reduces motion
  • Designing pages to work at a range of screen sizes and zoom levels

Tell Us About a Problem

If you encounter a page you cannot use, we want to hear about it, and we will work to fix it. It helps enormously if you can tell us:

  • The page you were on, such as its title or web address
  • What you were trying to do
  • What went wrong, and the browser or assistive technology you were using

Call us at (310) 757-2037.

An accessibility contact email address will be published here once it has been confirmed by our office. Until then, please use the phone number above.

Getting Information Another Way

If any information on this website is not accessible to you, please call our office at (310) 757-2037 during business hours and we will do our best to provide it in another format or explain it to you directly.

For medical emergencies, call 911. This website and our office line are not emergency services.

Third-Party Content

Where this website links to a website operated by another organization, that organization is responsible for the accessibility of its own content, which we do not control.
